New Blog for The Woodlands Commentary

We are at the far southern end of the great southeastern forests of Texas. Unfortunately the edge of the forest is migrating northward. Unlike many communities, the place I live is livable forest where we prize our trees and embrace nature. To have a thriving natural environment, we need the right weather. In this day and age, global warming is the trendy subject. We will consider this subject relative to our area. I will try to be objective and provide resources for regional and local weather. You as a reader can give me guidance on what you want from this. I intend to make your word part of it and your needs and interests drive this website. It is a part of The Woodlands Commentary and will be connected to the other blog sites of the commentary. Your comments are welcome either in the areas provided on the website for all readers to view, or through an email to me. You can expect a response to your emails.

I am part of a network of precipitation data gatherers. You will be provided with information on that as we move forward. I am also a certified weather watcher for the weather bureau. That also will be explained in a future article. There is much to talk about. You are provided with a tool to communicate with other readers on the right side of this page and in each specific article subject matter.

Everyone has an interest in the weather at one level or another. It affects us in many different ways.  So welcome to The Woodlands Commentary Weather Page.
